Who we are

Fendorio Ltd is the data controller for EMERGENCE and this website.

Fendorio Ltd
Company number 11502743
Registered in England and Wales

Data kept on your device

EMERGENCE stores your campaigns, introduction progress, local profile, unlocks, preferences, ad-frequency information and recovery backups in the app’s local storage. This information supports saving, restoring and continuing play.

We do not provide an EMERGENCE account or cloud-save service. Your campaign names, world seeds, save contents, story history and local profile are not sent to Fendorio Ltd by the app. You control this local data through your device, including by removing the app and its data.

Firebase Analytics

The App Store and TestFlight versions use Google Firebase Analytics to understand whether the game starts reliably and where players encounter difficulty in the broad campaign journey. This helps us improve stability, onboarding, balance and feature usability.

Events are deliberately limited to product interactions and milestones such as starting or completing the tutorial, starting or ending a campaign, selecting a Future, purchasing an upgrade, completing a project, resolving a decision and the outcome of an ad opportunity. Parameters can include the release channel, game week, origin, difficulty, project or incident type, selected Future and outcome.

We do not intentionally send campaign names, world seeds, run identifiers, save contents, rendered narrative text, exact device details or free-form values as custom analytics events. Firebase may process technical information supplied automatically by its SDK, such as app-instance, device, operating-system, approximate-location and diagnostic information, subject to Google’s documentation and your consent choices.

Automated tests do not use network analytics. Ordinary development builds log events locally; Firebase is used for TestFlight, App Store releases, and an explicitly enabled developer diagnostics mode.

Advertising, consent and tracking

EMERGENCE uses Google AdMob to request optional interstitial advertisements. Core gameplay remains available offline, and an unavailable or failed advertisement does not block play.

Depending on your location, consent and device settings, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, consent signals, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver, limit, measure or personalise advertising. EMERGENCE requests permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before allowing access to the advertising identifier. If you deny permission, the app does not receive permission to use that identifier for tracking.

Google’s User Messaging Platform manages consent choices in regions where a consent message is required. The app starts with analytics and advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation denied, then applies the choices and legal requirements relevant to your region.

This website and support email

This website does not use client-side analytics, advertising scripts, accounts, forms or cookies. It is hosted by Firebase Hosting. Google may process ordinary request and security information, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, timestamps and diagnostic logs, to deliver and protect the site.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, diagnose the issue, protect the service and keep any records required for legal or operational reasons. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless we specifically ask for information that is necessary to resolve your request.

Service providers, sharing and international transfers

We use Google services for Firebase Analytics, AdMob, consent management and website hosting. Apple processes information when it distributes the app, manages purchases and provides App Tracking Transparency. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices and may process it outside the United Kingdom.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our legal rights, or as part of a business reorganisation with appropriate safeguards.

How long information is kept

Local game data remains on your device until the app, its data, or an individual campaign is removed. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain an appropriate support record, handle disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Google controls retention for information it processes through Firebase Analytics, AdMob, consent management and Hosting according to the relevant account settings, product configuration and Google policies. We periodically review the data and configuration available to us and remove information when it is no longer needed.

Your privacy choices and rights

Where the option is required for your region, you can review or withdraw advertising and analytics consent through Settings → Privacy choices in EMERGENCE. You can also manage Apple tracking permission in the iOS or iPadOS Settings app. Withdrawing consent affects future processing and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent. Contact lbrindley@fendorio.uk to make a request. We may need to verify your identity. Because EMERGENCE has no user account and local saves are not uploaded, we may be unable to associate pseudonymous service-provider data with you.

If you are in the United Kingdom, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

Children

EMERGENCE is a general-audience strategy game and is not designed or directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly use the app or website to request a child’s name, contact details or account information. Advertising and consent treatment may vary by age, location and platform requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game, service providers, legal requirements or data practices change. The effective date at the top will be updated when a revised policy is published. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
